Rate cards vary per website, advert position, size, campaign duration and budget. Normally the advertising is charged on a CPM basis (Cost per Mille or Cost Per Thousand impressions - the 'M' being the roman numeral for 'Mille').

An impression means your advert is served and displayed, compared to CPC (Cost Per Click) where you only get charged when your advert is actually clicked.
