COMPANY PROFILE
Abbey Machinery is one of Ireland's largest and most respected manufacturers of agricultural equipment, including slurry & manure handling, grassland management and animal feeding equipment. It is known for its characteristic orange-colored machines.
Established in 1947, it is based today at a 100,000 sq. ft. purpose built manufacturing facility set on a 30 acre site based in Toomevara, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, and distribute through an extensive network of over 200 dealers around the world.
Abbey Q-Parts is the agri parts division within Abbey Machinery; established to market a wide range of wearing and fast-moving agri parts for ploughs, power harrows, silage equipment, slurry equipment, grass care, feed management and tractors - among many others.
SCOPE
Having successfully worked with Dotser for Abbey Machinery’s retail site, and impressed by how easy-to-use the Dotser’s software systems are and with our understanding of the agri dealer market; Abbey engaged Dotser to build a parts ecommerce management solution that would be able to integrate with their ERP system: M1 (from EC1 Solutions).
The ecommerce solution would enable live product pricing and stock level updates for customers and allow customers to access their parts order history and quickly submit repeat orders.
OUTCOME
Dotser delivered a full turnkey eCommerce parts solution through the Dotser Agri dealer software platform.
The Dotser Agri dealer system is integrated directly with Abbey's ERP system (M1 from ECI solutions) using Dotser ecommerce API software.
This ecommerce API software enables registered and approved customers to view live product pricing and stock information, allowing them to place agri parts orders direct from a simple-to-use mobile responsive front-end.
Dotser Agri - integration Machinery & Parts Management solution, is a simple-to-use eCommerce software interface delivering value and increased sales.
