Participants took part in a walk from St Stephen's National School to the home of Walterstown GAA grounds, with the funds raised going towards carrying out various development projects at the home ground including the resurfacing of the back pitch and the installation of a walkway around the perimeter of the whole area owned by the club.
The response to the fundraiser has been very positive raising over €78,000.
